From the Founder, Nancy Rosenthal

What if filmmakers could have a venue to show their extraordinary stories and engage with an audience with the power to create positive change?

After years producing films about the natural world at National Geographic and meeting so many passionate filmmakers, I experienced first hand the extraordinary power of film to inspire and motivate action.

In 2014, I launched the New York WILD Film Festival to bring together filmmakers, conservationists, adventurers, experts and you, our audience, to raise awareness of critical issues and to build an energized community capable of making a difference.

As we head into our 7th year, the festival has gained strong momentum: we’ve expanded to 4 days, added a family program, and partnered with universities and other organizations also committed to protecting the planet.

New York WILD ‘s mission to Explore, Discover and Protect is now more important than ever — it is essential to continue this dialogue about the challenges the planet faces.

Make a donation that will help New York WILD continue to grow and bring impactful films and speakers to our audiences year-round.

Donations at any level are very much appreciated.
