Dave Matthews + Reteti Elephant Sanctuary

Nothing prepares you for the searching curiosity of a baby elephant’s trunk, nor the heartbreaking story of how each orphan arrived at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya. Reteti is the first elephant orphanage in Africa completely owned and operated by the local community.

This year, renowned photographer Ami Vitale, performer Dave Matthews, and Conservation International teamed up to take a stand for the elephants and for community based conservation.
