Her name is ‘Toto’, Swahili for small, with the most unusual bright aquamarine eyes. She was born under a safari camp tent in the Masai Mara. Through the film, that covers Toto’s first three years, we see the building blocks locking into place, learning lessons until she is ready to make the transition to adulthood. This view into the world of big cats is unveiled by Dereck and Beverly Joubert, National Geographic conservationists, filmmakers and explorers, shot in pristine 4K and with seldom before seen thermal night vision views.
